On WhatsApp web and desktop, simply click the microphone icon to record a voice message. When the voice message has been recorded, the user just clicks on the red stop icon. Then, the user will see a sound wave complete with a description of the duration of the voice note and the start icon (play).
To re-listen to the voicemail, click the “play” button. Later, the voice message that was recorded earlier will be played back. Users can move the green dot icon to move the part of the sound they want to hear. If the contents of the voice note are deemed appropriate, the user just clicks the “send” icon. That way, a voice note will be sent to the intended person. However, if when re-listening with the voice message preview feature there is an error, the user can click the trash can icon to delete the contents of the recorded voice message. While in the mobile application, the voice message preview feature can only be available if the user records the contents of the voice message in hands-free mode. As is known, the WhatsApp mobile application has two options for recording voice notes. First by clicking and holding the microphone icon.
